In a new initiative, Tikkun Olam Makers and Swinburne have begun a first of its kind TOM @ University. The program launched on 3 August, and involves a two-stage process, using Design Factory Melbourne and Engineering Practice Academy capability.
Design Factory Melbourne has moved to a new location in Swinburne’s Innovation Hub on the Hawthorn campus. A historic Fire Station building has been purposefully designed to facilitate DFM activities. It supports design-led innovation as a pillar in Swinburne’s newly launched Innovation Precinct.
An initiative of Design Factory Melbourne, the A3 Challenge Based Innovation Program or A3 CBI is run in partnership with IdeaSquare and The European Organization for Nuclear Research or CERN, in Switzerland, and Design Factory Global Network partners.
